A standard BritMovers house removal quote covers:

  • A pre-move survey (virtual or on-site) to assess volume and special requirements (e.g., pianos, antiques).

  • All labor costs (loading, driving, unloading).

  • Use of our insured, GPS-tracked removal vehicles.

  • Basic packing materials (if you choose our “packing kit” option).

  • Furniture protection (blankets, corner guards, mattress covers).

  • Delivery and placement of items into rooms at your new home.

  • Removal of standard packing debris and recyclable materials.

Note: Optional add-ons (full packing service, storage fees, dismantling/reassembly of large items, parking permit charges) are quoted separately so you know exactly what you’re paying.

  1. Schedule a Pre-Move Survey

    • Contact us via phone, email, or online form to arrange a convenient time (in-person or virtual) for our Move Consultant to evaluate your belongings.

  2. Provide Key Details

    • Tell us about the number of rooms, size of bulky items (e.g., wardrobes, sofas), access constraints (narrow stairwells, parking restrictions), and desired move date.

  3. Receive Your Quote

    • Within 24 hours, you’ll get a fixed-price estimate that breaks down: labor, vehicle usage, basic materials (if requested), and any necessary permit costs.

  4. Review & Book

    • Compare your options, ask any follow-up questions, and confirm your booking by paying a small deposit. The balance is due on (or shortly after) move day.

Yes—both options are available:

  • DIY Packing Kit

    • We deliver high-quality, durable boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, and labels to your door. You pack at your own pace, then leave the materials out for our team to collect on move day.

  • Full Packing Service

    • Our professional packers arrive with all materials, carefully wrap fragile items (china, glassware, electronics), box up clothing and books, and clearly label every carton. This option saves time and reduces stress, especially for delicate or high-value possessions.

Whatever you choose, our Move Coordinator will help you determine the right amount of supplies, and answer any packaging questions ahead of move day.

BritMovers provides both short- and long-term storage solutions in a secure, climate-controlled facility. Available unit sizes include:

  • Small (≈ 25 sq ft) – Fits boxes, one small wardrobe, or several pieces of flat-pack furniture.

  • Medium (≈ 50 sq ft) – Ideal for furnishings from a one-bedroom apartment (sofa, bed frame, boxes).

  • Large (≈ 100 sq ft) – Accommodates multi-bedroom furniture sets, appliances, and excess belongings.

All storage units feature:

  • 24/7 CCTV surveillance and on-site security patrols

  • Access control with personalized entry codes

  • Climate control (temperature and humidity regulated) to protect wood, documents, and electronics

  • Weekly inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety

You can rent by the week or month, and items can be moved in/out during designated access hours. If you need to store large items temporarily (e.g., your new home isn’t ready), our storage is a convenient, insured option.
